Abstract
The article investigates tillering of cereals, which is due to the formation of the basal zone of shortened inter nodes and set of buds of certain capacity, and results in its growth, featuring unique morphological and biochemical peculiarities of its development. The process of cereals tillering is related to the formation of the zone of shortened inter nodes and set of buds of certain capacity in plants, which results in their growth and formation of the above ground mass yield. The process of tillering is divided into three phases ââ¬â preparatory, latent, and visible tillering; each of these phases has unique morphological and cytobiochemical features in its development.
