Abstract

Physical development is considered to be an indicator of health status of both an individual and a group of people, living under certain conditions. It is well-known that physical development is highly dependent on the environmental situation, i.e. environmental, chemical pollution, since the latter can cause a number of chronic diseases of different nature. The territories of bio geo chemical provinces require an intensified monitoring of the living conditions, in order to contribute to health-promoting environments for the population residing in that area. The choice of the research object was due to the fact that children, in view of their age specification and metabolic processes, form group of the population that is one of the most sensitive to changes in environmental factors. The aim of the research was to study the dynamics of indicators of physical development of school-age children, due to the changing environmental situation in the bio geo chemical province of phosphorus origin.
